Reconnect with nature and yourself

Let the demands of daily life melt away as you nurture your well-being as during the Dusk to Dark Forest Therapy Walk from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at Oak Park Woods. Reserve your spot today and rediscover the joys of a slower pace.

During this program, you’ll enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of forest bathing, where you’ll slow down and tune into your senses as you follow a standard sequence of movements during a slow restorative walk. This gentle, mindful movement is about being fully present in a natural setting with moments that calm your mind and provide opportunities for quiet reflection. Cost is $15/person and preregistration with payment is required.

The Dusk To Dark Forest Therapy Walk is part of the Forest Therapy On the Go Series, which begins with six new sessions in October and runs through August 2027.

Also, be sure to check out our Wellness in the Woods series, which includes programming such as Painting in the Garden on Aug. 29; Forest Bathing 101 on Sept. 12; and Summer is Done Let’s Drum on Sept. 19.
